Finger foods are foods that can be eaten using fingers, but they are also foods that can be eaten SAFELY by the person with dementia. So, foods such as fried chicken and ribs are not included in this list. The list below suggests finger foods that can be enjoyed and eaten safely…

Slices of fruit
Toast
Scrambled egg squares
Pancakes (rolled up with either jelly or scrambled egg in the middle)
French Toast
Waffle slivers or squares

LUNCH:
Sandwiches

Spaghetti on bread
Slices of vegetables
Carrot or celery sticks
Cubed fruit (not in juice or sauce)
