Our Course for Dementia Care Professionals
The Alzheimer’s Research & Resource Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to developing and providing resources that enable substantially improved care for those afflicted by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.
Our Alzheimer’s Caregiver course helps health care institutions, clinicians, physical and occupational therapists, and caregivers develop a patient-centric approach to meet the needs of people with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
The course is available in English and Spanish and includes:
32 lessons composing 8 hours of research-based guidance for managing daily activities, navigating changes that occur with disease progression, designing safe and stimulating environments, and preventing caregiver burnout
850 photographs, 50 hours of audio, and 88 videos to reinforce key lessons and practical strategies for caregiving
68 quizzes to enhance problem-based learning method
